With the help of my brother, the Supreme Court and my opponent,
I've become 43, president of the United States of America....
And here am I, at the country's table among last night's leftovers? (He checks under the table) Even the interns are gone... Just a running nosed economy that I will pretend to blow with a tax cut... Restrictions on abortion to reward the Christian right for shutting up during my campaign... Lowering mercury and lead standards to insure chemical industries' growth…
But then? What?
God might have a higher reason for wanting me as president, I wish I knew what it was...
Act 1, sc.6
Handing his cane, wearing sunglasses and a top hat, from the back enters Johnny Walker. He strides across the cemetery and takes a seat in a broken golf cart.
Johnny Walker
(Pulling a cigar and a lighter out of his pocket and looking at his enraptured grandson)
His opponent ran as a cold Democrat so Red Eye told him to run as a Compassionate Conservative... (he lights up his cigar) Fellows have followed. They have trusted his gimmicks, been mesmerized by the motion of his lips and sucked on his lies even before he pulled 'em out...
If you want to haul yourself up to power, walk in lockstep with the Almighty...
A Nation who believes in a God of wrath needs a vulcanian leader and will hug harsh punishment for justice clients... History has taught us that punishment never healed anything but memory doesn't pee very far in this quarter of the planet.
Here, under God's name, you'll be able to reward the culprits, harass innocents, shower the wealthier with the Poor's pennies while christening yourself a compassionate....
Here, no need to stand for a Christian nation, just implement faith-based government's funding...
Don't resist abortion, just honk around that life begins at fertilization.
Multiply speeches in favor of legalizing aliens while sending them back home.
An iron hand in a velvet glove... That's the order of the day...
Because when it comes to war against evil, I'm the Man and I will handle the job until He comes...
